Role Purpose Statement
Main Accountabilities
Strategic Sourcing & Collaboration
- Partner with Customer Service Centers and cross-functional teams to identify current and future sourcing needs, determine optimal fulfillment strategies, and monitor performance.
- Drive supplier development initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Vendor Management
- Address vendor performance issues promptly; analyze alternatives and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Identify and onboard qualified vendors that meet LSG standards and compliance requirements.
Cost Optimization
- Achieve year-over-year cost reductions through product standardization and competitive sourcing.
- Leverage market knowledge and supplier capabilities to guide stakeholders toward cost-effective, innovative solutions.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure procurement activities align with customer specifications, quality standards, and pricing parameters.
- Maintain accurate SAP Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manage purchase orders to support inventory and production needs.
- Support month-end inventory processes, including reconciliation and reporting.
- Analyze forecasts, lead times, and delivery schedules to optimize order quantities.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with Materials and Program Management teams on special projects and operational improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of purchasing or supply chain experience required.
Technical Skills
- SAP experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating forecasts, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
