Role Purpose Statement

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and excels at managing and motivating teams. The Evening Operations Supervisor is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role plays a critical part in engaging employees and reinforcing performance and safety initiatives during the evening shift.

Work Tpye- Onsite
Shift- 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Main Accountabilities

Operations & Supervision

  • Oversee and ensure all operational areas are properly organized, staffed, and directed to meet production and delivery timelines
  • Lead and facilitate daily team huddles to communicate goals, priorities, and performance expectations
  • Plan, schedule, and manage staffing levels to achieve productivity targets while controlling overtime and labor costs
  • Ensure timely and accurate production and/or catering of all flights in accordance with operational standards
  • Monitor workflows and proactively resolve operational challenges to maintain efficiency and service levels
  • Document processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and company standards, including FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP requirements
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by actively monitoring compliance and engaging employees in safety initiatives
  • Conduct regular audits and follow up on any safety or compliance concerns

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members in alignment with company values, policies, and performance expectations
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment focused on engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback, address employee relations matters, and support talent development
  • Model and reinforce company values and leadership principles within the team

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, quality, attendance, and cost metrics
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions to drive operational success
  • Support and participate in company initiatives such as Quality Programs, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, and Safety Programs
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, or operations environment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, EPA, and HACCP standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
  • Familiarity with labor management and productivity tracking systems preferred
