Role Purpose Statement
We are looking for a passionate Costing Intern to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. This position will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership

MUST BE LOCAL IN DALLAS AS POSITION IS ONSITE
Main Accountabilities
- Assist with the interpretation of customer specifications and develop and review costs for bills of materials for Operations, Pricing and Sales
- Learn to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Comply with established data management and quality assurance processes
- Process documentation
- Create electronic processes to perform data quality checks, reformat data sets, or interface with internal systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Ability to complete assignments against tight deadlines
- Ability to cooperate with teammates, but can work independently without close supervision
- Pursuing a bachelor or master’s degree in a relevant field of study
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer skills to include MS Office products (Excel, Word and Access)
