Position Overview
We’re excited to introduce a new and highly visible role at LSG Sky Chefs, Employee Experience Manager, that will play a pivotal part in shaping how our team members experience work from day one and throughout their careers. This position is key to building a strong, people-centered culture and delivering a consistent, positive onboarding journey and workplace experience for our diverse team.
As the Employee Experience Manager, you’ll serve as the voice of our employees, partnering closely with Field Operations and HR to surface insights, champion engagement, and drive initiatives that foster connection, growth, and retention. You’ll work on-site in our Customer Operations Service Center, which services our client, American Airlines, and will maintain a strong presence on the production floor to stay closely connected with frontline staff.
- Work Location: onsite @ our LSG Sky Chefs facility on the grounds of DFW International Airport
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday but must be flexible to work additional hours or days as needed outside the standard schedule, including nights and weekends
What You'll Do
- Establish and ensure successful, productive, collaborative partnerships with local operations leaders and corporate partners to bring employee experience awareness into their processes, communications, and strategies.
- Design and execute employee experience initiatives such as focus groups and surveys
- Effectively introduce and present programs to leadership and cross-functional departments to ensure alignment and support prior to implementation
- Design and execute effective initiatives focused on program improvement and increasing engagement - focus groups, surveys, etc.,
- Lead the partnership with operations leaders to launch and support the “Buddy” new hire onboarding program in their departments.
- Meet with new hires on a weekly basis to recap and evaluate orientation and training, answer questions, and address concerns.
- Lead the weekly Employee Experience Internal Feedback Loop (IFBL) meeting to address new hire orientation evaluations and program updates, feedback and ideas with leadership
- Track and report weekly KPIs via the Employee Engagement Scorecard, sharing trends and insights with senior leadership
- Be a supportive point of contact for newly hired employees.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in human resources, employee engagement, or relevant experience required
- Aviation, hospitality, catering/food production or high-volume operations experience highly preferred
- Comfortable working in a light production/food production-focused environment
- Experienced supporting and engaging a large, diverse, and predominantly operations-focused workforce
- Highly skilled in developing impactful presentations and delivering them effectively to diverse audiences
- Strong influential leadership and project management abilities; capable of driving initiatives from concept to execution
- Collaborative, people-first mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Agility to adapt to shifting priorities and evolving business needs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
