Role Purpose Statement
Join our growing Chicago operations as a Training Supervisor and take a leading role in developing the skills, safety, and performance of our frontline workforce. While a significant portion of this position focuses on delivering high‑quality driver training in full compliance with Federal and State regulations, you will also support and enhance training programs across other operational departments. Working closely with the Training Manager, Department Manager, and Director of Transportation, you will help strengthen our overall training standards—creating engaging learning experiences, assessing employee needs, maintaining accurate training records, and ensuring a consistent, professional, and safety‑driven environment. Location: near Chicago O’Hare International Airport
Schedule: must be flexible with schedule as we run 3 shifts to support our airline customers

Main Accountabilities
- Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, i.e., role-playing, simulations, team exercise, group discussions, and videos
- Assesses employees for training needs, maintains records of training activities, monitors program effectiveness, and recommends improvements.
- Coordinates with line managers to identify skill/knowledge gaps and identify training needs, develops training courses, curriculum, or materials, and delivers and evaluates training sessions.
- Coordinates guest trainers or subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Documents employee attendance or performance at mandatory training sessions.
- Assesses training effectiveness and modifies programs to improve results
- Experience in creating robust Driver Training Programs, Standards, Safety Content and a Positive Environment
- Perform safety-related functions including, but not limited to, accident reviews and skills and behavior assessments
- Obtain and organize procedure manuals, guides, or course materials such as handouts or visual materials
- Maintain all classroom technology and equipment including, but not limited to, computers, projectors, screens, etc.
- Coach/Counsel drivers in collaboration with Operations and Safety for violations of DOT Regulations, FMCSR, and safety standards
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in training, facilitating workshops, or employee development roles, preferably within the Hospitality, Food Service, or Manufacturing industries.
- Supervisory experience
- Proven ability to deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions.
- Experience in creating and developing instructional materials and e-learning courses.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as communicating with employees at different levels with diverse backgrounds and language skills.
- Proficiency in using, Microsoft Office Suite, and other digital training tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
Desired Skills
•Knowledge of federal and state traffic laws
•Skilled in operating an articulated vehicle up to 26’ in length
•Expertise in Pre-Trips, Driver Safety and Executing/Maintaining Driver Training Programs
