How You'll Make a Difference
As General Manager, you will:
- Own the overall operational, financial, and performance results of the CSC
- Develop and execute the annual business plan and budget in alignment with regional strategy
- Lead short‑ and mid‑term production planning to ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery of food products and services
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, cost, and service
- Ensure optimal deployment of people, equipment, materials, and capital resources
- Maintain full compliance with FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP regulations
- Champion a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and engagement
- Lead, develop, and motivate a diverse workforce, including unionized teams where applicable
- Partner closely with Sales, Culinary, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and external stakeholders
- Initiate and manage capital projects to support growth and operational excellence
- Ensure all customer contracts, company standards, and delivery commitments are consistently met
What We’re Looking For in a Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent operational experience
- 10+ years of progressive operations or manufacturing leadership experience
- Proven success leading large, multi‑department operations
- Experience in food manufacturing, processing, or regulated environments strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Strong financial acumen and budget ownership experience
- Ability to lead through complexity, change, and high operational pressure
- Demonstrated success building strong teams, managing labor relations, and engaging union workforces
- Excellent communication, decision‑making, and leadership presence
- Track record of exceeding corporate expectations and driving performance improvement
