Role Purpose Statement
We are searching for a deteailed and dependable General Administrative Clerk to support day-to-day clerical functions within our fast-paced airline catering operation. This temporary role plays a key part in ensuring smooth administrative workflows across departments such as Operations, Logistics, and Production. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment!
- Position type: Temporary/Contract
- Work location: onsite at our Sky Chefs facility on the grounds of George Bush Intercontinental Airport
- Work schedule: 40 hours / week business days
What You'll Do
- Provide clerical support across multiple departments including Operations, Billing, and Quality Assurance
- Assist with basic administrative tasks including preparing documents, correspondence, and reports
- Respond to internal requests and inquiries while maintaining a high level of customer service and timely responses
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support daily catering operations, billing cycles and issues and quality assurance support
- Communicate effectively with external customers and vendors and internal leadership and team members
- Perform general office duties including filing, scanning, data entry, and responding to emails
- Assist with other administrative projects or duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years experience in a clerical, administrative, or operations support role required
- Prior experience in a food production, logistics, or airline catering environment is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); SAP knowledge a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills and customer service attitude
- Ability to work independently and under time constraints
