Are you ready to lead teams that keep operations running smoothly and efficiently? As one of three Operations Supervisors, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing daily production activities across cold food production, transportation, ramp, sanitation, and assembly departments (approx. 80 team members). This is your opportunity to make a real impact on quality, safety, and performance in a fast-paced environment. We need someone with strong communication skills who can lead and engage production teams to achieve operational goals.
- Schedule: flexibility is a must! This role follows a rotating shift schedule with 2–3 other supervisors covering day, swing, and night shifts. Weekend work is required; however, the schedule will include two consecutive days off during the week
- Location: onsite @ Sky Chefs facility near George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston

What You'll Do
Supervisor Responsibility
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed and that all delivery times are being met timely
- Conduct daily work group meetings
- Schedule and control staff to meet labour productivity and overtime targets
- Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards (example: Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), etc.)
- Document and follow up on all department processes in order to implement improvements
- Ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering of all flights
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Other duties as deemed necessary
Leadership
- Guide, motivate and develop staff within the Human Resources policies
- Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s)
- Manage productivity hours and costs in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations
- Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety and Production systems
What We Look for in a Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 2–4 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or aviation operations required
- Bilingual skills strongly preferred
- Prior union environment experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead teams to achieve productivity goals
- Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
