Position Overview
The Compensation Analyst provides analytical and professional-level support to the compensation function. This role assists the Compensation Manager and Director Total Rewards in the design, development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including base pay structures, salary administration, job descriptions and evaluations, market pricing analyses, and incentive plans. The analyst plays a key role in ensuring our compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational goals.

What You'll Do
- Support annual compensation planning cycles (e.g., merit increases, bonus payouts).
- Contribute to the communication, roll-out, and project management of the non-executive merit and incentive payout process.
- Assist with job profiles / descriptions to accurately describe job content and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Conduct market pricing of new and current positions and cost of living analysis for all locations.
- Manage and continuously improve the process for creating, maintaining, and auditing job codes, job levels, and bonus eligibility percentages to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards.
- Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company’s competitive position and provide recommendations to modify structure as needed
- Provide FLSA data to ensure company is compliant
- Maintain Compensation policy / procedure
- Educate HR business partners and managers on compensation philosophy and practices.
- Review salary recommendation from recruiting that require compensation approval and draft corresponding offer letters
- Spearhead educational initiatives to increase employee understanding and appreciation of their total rewards package.
- Assist in the development and administration of base pay, incentive, and equity programs
- Support with employee immigration
- Participate with special projects and perform other related duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field; or a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources or a related business function is required.
- At least two years of direct compensation experience in addition to the educational or professional background noted above.
- Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification a plus
- Understanding of the Hay methodology preferred
- Knowledge of job documentation, job analysis/evaluation and market pricing methods
- Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to compensation (e.g. FLSA)
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated skills in effectively working with all levels inside and outside the company
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required; ADP report writing preferred
