MUST BE LOCAL IN DALLAS AS POSITION IS ONSITE
Main Accountabilities
- Work on ePMO Projects as assigned
- Attend ePMO projects meetings as requested and help take action items, meeting minutes etc.
- Follow up on action items as necessary
- Create and update new and existing power point presentations for project status updates.
- Interact with points of contacts from multiple cross functional departments and drive project progress items as and when necessary.
- Keep the project and programs excel based tracker updated at all time.
- Assist the project and program managers with scheduling & coordination of tasks and activities for the program.
- Assist in creating project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and timelines.
- Help with resource allocation and task assignments.
- Track project milestones and deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Currently enrolled/attending college, preferable at Sophomore level or higher
- Must be extremely organized, accurate and demonstrate attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs as well as expertise in utilizing the Internet;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn to work well under pressure with limited information and training
- Demonstrated ability to maintain calm in stressful environment
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential with a high degree of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive matters in a professional manner
- Must be extremely dependable and prompt
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Knowledge of audio-visual equipment, including an ability to connect videoconference calls
