Position Overview

The Senior Vice President of Sales & Services will be the driving force behind commercial success in North America—leading high-performing frontline sales and account management teams to deliver exceptional value to our airline and travel industry partners. The SVP defines the strategic direction and execution of the company’s most important client relationships across the region, ensuring value delivery and alignment with the company’s broader business objectives. As a key member of the Commercial leadership team and a trusted advisor to the C-suite, they will play a critical role in deepening client relationships, strengthening retention, and identifying strategic opportunities for market expansion. 


Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role will shape a high-performing, client-centric commercial structure by strengthening the regional Key Account Management organization and mobilizing cross-functional teams to deliver customer-specific, profitable, and scalable solutions.  Position is based at our North American Corporate Headquarters in Irving, TX.
 

Main Accountabilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a sales- and key client strategies that support revenue growth, client retention, and margin enhancement across domestic and international airline clients.
  • Serve as a key contributor to the commercial strategy, championing client needs and opportunities in internal strategic forums. 
  • Oversee the development and execution of strategic account plans that reflect client priorities, value creation and operational realities.
  • Set clear commercial targets and ensure disciplined pipeline management and across key markets.

 

People Leadership & Organizational Culture

  • Lead and mentor the VPs of Key Account Management, fostering a performance-driven and collaborative culture 
  • Provide coaching, career development, and succession planning to build long-term commercial capability 
  • Role-model values-based leadership and promote a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and accountability

 

Client Engagement

  • Ensure client intimacy through structured engagement, and commercial excellence in alignment with value creation goals and growth targets
  • Strengthen strategic relationships with key airline clients at senior levels, ensuring mutual value creation and long-term collaboration.
  • Serve as primary executive sponsor for high-value accounts
  • Oversee contract execution and service-level performance, working with Operations (S)VPs to ensure commitments are adhered to and improve client satisfaction

 

Commercial Governance & Financial Performance

  • Drive commercial discipline in client contracts, pricing, and proposal development, ensuring alignment with financial and legal frameworks
  • Oversee the financial performance of key accounts, ensuring that commercial actions drive profitable growth
     

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 15+ years of commercial leadership experience in sales, account management, or commercial operations
  • Proven track record of leading geographically distributed teams and managing enterprise-level clients
  • Strong background in B2B service industries
  • Exceptional executive presence, negotiation skills, and customer relationship acumen
  • Demonstrated success leading large commercial teams in matrixed environments and lead through influence
  • Proven expertise in pricing, contract negotiation, and solution selling
  • Experience driving client-centric transformation and value-based selling
