Role Purpose Statement
The Senior Manager, Safety Training is responsible for the development, effectiveness, and standardization of safety training programs across all Customer Service Centers (CSCs). This role ensures employees are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required to perform their work safely and effectively. Additionally, this role is responsible for the governance, alignment, and continuous improvement of safety manuals, ensuring consistency between documented procedures, operational practices, and training programs.

Main Accountabilities
•Develop and implement a comprehensive safety training strategy aligned with operational risk
•Design and deploy new training programs addressing operational risks
•Evaluate and enhance existing training programs for effectiveness
•Use safety data to identify training gaps and drive improvements
•Standardize training delivery through syllabus, facilitator guides, and job aids
•Partner with operations to ensure consistent training execution
•Define competency-based training models and OJT validation
•Provide leadership and collaborate with operations and safety teams
Safety Manual Governance & Alignment Responsibilities
•Own the development, maintenance, and revision control of the Ramp Safety Management System (RSMS) manual and Safety Management Guide manual
•Ensure alignment between safety manuals, SOPs, and training programs to eliminate gaps between documented procedures and operational execution
•Partner with Safety, Operations, and Training teams to validate that all procedural changes are accurately reflected in training content
•Lead the change management process for safety manuals, including incorporation of Safety Risk Assessments (SRAs) and communication of updates
•Establish a structured review cycle for safety manuals to ensure continuous improvement and regulatory compliance
•Ensure training curriculum reflects current approved procedures, equipment, and operational practices
•Monitor and audit alignment between training delivery and manual requirements through RSOs, audits, and performance data
•Drive standardization of procedures and training across all stations to prevent procedural drift
•Support investigations and corrective actions by ensuring learnings are incorporated into both manuals and training programs
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•7+ years of safety or training experience
•Experience in aviation, logistics, or industrial operations preferred
•Proven experience designing training programs
•Experience managing procedural documentation or safety management systems (preferred)
