We are hiring a Vice President of Human Resources -Field Operations. This newly created high-impact role serves as a strategic partner and HR leader for our regional operations, aligning human capital strategies with business objectives to drive performance, agility, and employee engagement. This role champions organizational effectiveness, talent development, and labor relations across a complex, dynamic field environment. As a key member of the HR executive team, the VP ensures that our people strategies directly support operational excellence and long-term growth.

This position is located at our Americas HQ’s in Irving, TX and reports to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
What you will do
Strategic Leadership & Business Integration
- Develop and execute a cohesive regional HR strategy aligned with enterprise-wide goals and operational priorities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the COO and other senior leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and strategic people initiatives.
- Translate business objectives into HR solutions that drive agility, engagement, and performance.
Talent & Organizational Effectiveness
- Support succession planning in the field, leadership development, and capability-building efforts to ensure long-term talent readiness.
- Oversee implementation of structural and organizational changes across regions, ensuring alignment with business evolution..
Labor Strategy & Employee Relations
- Co-develop and implement labor relations strategies that align with operational objectives and foster a compliant, respectful, and stable workforce environment.
- Partner with the SVP of HR to lead collective bargaining negotiations, representing the company’s position in union discussions, labor disputes, arbitrations, and EEOC proceedings.
- Provide joint oversight on grievance procedures, ensuring consistent, values-driven resolutions that maintain workforce trust and organizational integrity.
Field HR Execution & Support
- Direct HR support for business transitions, site start-ups, and operational changes, ensuring effective planning and communication.
- Collaborate with internal functions (Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Communications) to deliver seamless HR service delivery.
- Oversee union wage administration and alignment with compensation strategy.
Workforce Data & Risk Management
- Leverage workforce analytics to anticipate trends, inform business planning, and measure HR effectiveness.
- Contribute to regional safety and workers’ compensation strategies, focusing on risk mitigation and cost containment.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional HR team by setting clear direction, fostering a culture of accountability, and investing in professional growth.
- Serve as a leadership role model, driving integrity, innovation, and excellence in people practices.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- HR Leadership Experience (10+ years)Proven experience in progressively senior HR roles.
- Prior leadership at the Director or VP level, ideally in field operations or decentralized environments.
- Multi-site or Distributed Workforce Management
- Experience managing HR functions across multiple regions, offices, or business units.
- Ability to address localized compliance and employee relations issues.
- Strategic HR Planning
- Demonstrated ability to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Experience in workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational design.
- Change Management and Transformation
- Led or supported large-scale organizational change initiatives.
- M&A integration, restructuring, or major cultural transformation experience is a plus.
- Industry Experience
- Industry-specific experience (e.g., retail, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare) may be required depending on the organization.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
