Role Purpose Statement
The LPS (Lean Production Systems) Supervisor is responsible for supporting and coordinating continuous improvement activities that promote overall business goals. The person in this position is responsible for using Lean Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement activities and operational excellence across the organization.
Main Accountabilities
•Design and maintain continuous improvement systems, processes, and tools to support organizational objectives.
•Train and mentor team members in the use of Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques.
•Develop and implement process changes to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
•Conduct root cause analysis to identify improvement opportunities
•Monitor and report on the progress of continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired qualifications:
•Understanding of practical application of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles and tools. (Value Stream Mapping, 6S, etc)
•Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, quantify improvements, and use tools for root cause analysis.
•Experience in process improvements, a background in relevant industry and experience implementing lean methodologies.
•Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with department’s managers and supervisors.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
•Minimum two years of related work experience.
