Main Accountabilities
Supervision and Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of assembly line workers, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve production targets.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and individual growth.
Production Oversight: Manage the assembly process from start to finish, coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and accurate production.
Monitor production schedules and adjust workforce and resources as needed to meet operational demands.
Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the production of high-quality airline catering products.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and address any quality issues promptly.
Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
Inventory Management: Collaborate with the logistics and inventory teams to manage stock levels and ensure sufficient supplies for production.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, implementing changes to enhance overall assembly operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication channels with team members, management, and other relevant stakeholders.
Report on key performance indicators, production metrics, and any issues impacting assembly operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• 2 to 4 years of proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse workforce.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Familiarity with inventory management and quality control processes.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
