Position Summary

The Human Resources Admin serves as a welcoming and trusted point of contact for all employees, helping create a smooth and positive experience from the very start. In this role, you’ll support new hire orientation, coordinate background checks and drug testing, assist with onboarding, and ensure employee records are accurate and up to date. You’ll also provide friendly knowledgeable support by answering employee questions about their benefits. This position plays a key part in helping every team member feel informed, supported, and set up for success.

What You’ll Do

• Assist employees with questions regarding benefits, policies, and HR procedures
• Coordinate and support new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth and positive first-day experience
• Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant employee records
• Coordinate background checks and drug testing (DOT and non‑DOT)
• Provide general HR support and escalate issues as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR interactions
• Assist with employee engagement activities, recognition events, and training sessions
• Help manage HR audits, file reviews, and safety-related documentation
• Provide on-site support in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

What We’re Looking For in a Candidate

• 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience (manufacturing, hospitality, food service, or airline operations preferred)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with HR/ATS/HRIS systems
• Experience with onboarding, background checks, drug testing, or benefits support a plus
• A positive attitude, customer‑service mindset, and desire to help others succeed
