Role Purpose Statement
We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team in SeaTac, WA. The ideal candidate brings excellent customer service, patience, and strong organizational and multi‑tasking abilities to support daily HR operations.
Shift – Mon – Fri, 7:30am – 4:00pm.
In this role, you will:
Facilitate and support new‑hire orientation sessions
Respond to employee questions with professionalism and accuracy
Oversee onboarding processes, including I‑9 verification
Assist with basic payroll tasks such as verifying employee hours
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the HR department

Main Accountabilities
Assist with new hire orientations, tracking and onboarding for hourly employees
Investigating payroll issues and questions, timekeeping, lead pay, and verifying hours as needed
Processing all union and non-union administrative new hires, employment verification and background checks
Inputting of all employee data changes and maintaining all personnel/benefits files
Shared responsibility for the coordination of the Uniform program, locker assignments and parking passes
Assist the department as needed in all functions, ie: recruitment, screening, processing, onboarding, etc.
Assist in annual Benefits Enrollment and Safety Shoe Program
Participate in all Corporate led training initiatives
Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned
Maintain records of written correspondence, presentations, and other documents and ensure materials are easily retrievable, in both written and electronic format
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of human resources or administrative support experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Data Entry, payroll, timekeeping, problem solving and HR experience conducting orientations preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, interact with all levels of management and maintain strict confidentiality
• Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a large diverse workforce/2nd language -- must be flexible
