Role Purpose Statement

The Analyst, Food Cost & Supply Chain drives site‑level supply chain performance by ensuring consistent process execution, elevating data‑driven decision‑making, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve food cost, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency. This role strengthens standardized business practices across locations while enabling teams to reduce waste, optimize purchasing, and maintain accurate, reliable inventory controls.

 

Partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, the Analyst reinforces supply chain standards and leads root‑cause analysis to address operational gaps. The role champions continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable operational and financial results.

Improvement in food cost savings and food cost variance

Reduction in days on hand and inventory dollars

Increased inventory accuracy %

Effective K‑line spend control

 

Main Accountabilities

Business Strategy and Innovation: Support the deployment and adoption of supply chain tools, processes, and data analytics that enable consistent and insightful reporting at the CSC level. Ensure site teams are equipped with clear, actionable information to drive performance across key supply chain metrics.

 

Supply Chain Mastery:  Act as a key contributor within the Supply Chain team by supporting the implementation and consistent use of tools such as Food Cost Tracker, PO Compliance, Inventory Management, and related reporting systems, reinforcing operational discipline and efficiency. Assist in maintaining process documentation and standards, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with established supply chain practices across the CSC.

 

Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage supply chain analytics, including food cost analysis, spend tracking, inventory management, and process compliance measures to support decision-making at the site level. Provide insights that highlight opportunities for improvement and support continuous performance enhancement.  Develop and refine reporting measures that improve visibility into operational performance and resource utilization. Ensure alignment between site-level reporting and corporate and operational objectives, reinforcing accuracy and consistency in data and metrics.

 

Collaborative Innovation and Leadership: Partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and support initiatives aimed at improving food cost, inventory accuracy, and overall efficiency. Support accurate execution of goods receipt and inventory-related processes to maintain data integrity and cost control. Provide analytical and operational support across key processes and initiatives, contributing to sustained improvements in site-level supply chain performance.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

•    A college degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in business and supply chain dynamics.
•    2 to 5 years of proven success in a similar role, with a track record of driving operational excellence and innovation.
•    Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ensuring seamless productivity and collaboration.
•    Familiarity with SAP MM and other modules and CBase is a plus, showcasing your ability to work with resource planning systems.
•    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•    A self-directed professional with organizational and interpersonal skills, ready to assist with and collaborate with diverse teams.
•    Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Supply Chain management, and Purchasing, positioning you as a strategic asset in driving efficiency.
•    Reconciliation abilities, demonstrating attention to detail and the capacity to handle financial tasks.
•    Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, enabling you to break down problems and develop solutions.
•    Attention to detail and time management skills, ensuring that tasks are completed with precision and efficiency.
