Role Purpose Statement

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Supervisor to lead a high-performing team within our Customer Service Center (CSC). The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced production environment, brings strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities, and is passionate about delivering a high-quality product to our customers. This role is also responsible for promoting a safety-first culture by actively monitoring and engaging employees in all safety and performance-related initiatives.

Main Accountabilities

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Ensure the operational area is effectively staffed, structured, and aligned to meet production and delivery schedules.

  • Lead daily team briefings to communicate goals, expectations, and safety updates.

  • Plan and manage labor resources to optimize productivity, control overtime, and meet business objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards including but not limited to: FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP requirements.

  • Document, review, and improve departmental processes to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Ensure timely, accurate production and catering of all scheduled flights and/or customer requirements.

  • Enforce and monitor adherence to all safety protocols and company policies.

  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support operational goals.

Leadership & People Management

  • Inspire, lead, and develop team members in alignment with company values and HR policies.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.

  • Promote employee engagement through coaching, feedback, and performance recognition.

  • Ensure all team members are trained, compliant, and aligned with company and regulatory expectations.

  • Support and implement company-wide programs and initiatives, including Quality Assurance, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, and Safety Systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in operations, production, logistics, food manufacturing, or a related field.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop frontline employees.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and foster team performance.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving productivity, quality, and safety goals.

  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards (OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, EPA).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and other Windows-based applications.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
