Role Purpose Statement
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for supervising operations, ensuring proper equipment utilization, and maintaining sanitation standards to deliver high-quality products to our customers. The ideal candidate will actively engage employees in safety, compliance, and performance initiatives while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Main Accountabilities
Operational Oversight
- Ensure the assigned area is organized, staffed, and operating efficiently to meet production and delivery timelines.
- Oversee equipment functionality, preventive maintenance schedules, and proper usage to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor sanitation practices to maintain a clean and compliant work environment in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Supervisor Responsibilities
- Conduct daily team meetings to communicate goals, safety updates, and performance expectations.
- Schedule and manage labor resources to achieve productivity targets and control overtime costs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HACCP, GMP).
- Document and review operational processes to identify and implement improvements.
- Guarantee on-time and accurate production and/or catering for all flights.
- Enforce safety protocols and lead initiatives to reduce workplace hazards.
Leadership
- Motivate, coach, and develop team members within company policies and values.
- Drive productivity and cost efficiency; implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Champion company initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety, and Continuous Improvement programs.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 1–3 years of supervisory experience in production, operations, or related field.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and engage teams.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
- Available to work rotationg shifts that include nights, weekends and holidays.
