Role Purpose Statement

We are seeking an energetic, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment and enjoys developing and guiding teams. This individual will oversee daily operations to ensure employees are engaged, safety standards are upheld, and high‑quality products are consistently delivered to our customers. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and committed to fostering a culture of safety, quality, and performance excellence.

Main Accountabilities

Supervisory & Operational Management

  • Ensure the assigned operational area is effectively organized, properly staffed, and consistently meeting production and delivery timelines.
  • Lead daily team huddles to communicate goals, updates, and performance expectations.
  • Schedule, direct, and manage labor resources to meet productivity targets while controlling overtime.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable government regulations including, but not limited to, FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP standards.
  • Document departmental processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive continuous operational enhancements.
  • Oversee timely and accurate production and/or catering for all flights.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational goals.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Coach, motivate, and develop employees in alignment with company values and HR policies.
  • Foster a culture that reflects the company’s leadership principles and operational standards.
  • Manage labor hours and departmental costs, taking corrective action when necessary to maintain budget alignment.
  • Actively participate in and support company initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety, and Production Systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required.
  • 1–3 years of related supervisory or operational experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead teams and influence outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop employees to achieve productivity and performance objectives.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Windows‑based applications.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts that include, morning, nights, weekends and holidays.
